We know bringing a puppy into your home is about much more than paperwork and deposits. Our goal is to help you find the right companion for your lifestyle while making the process clear and enjoyable.

Below you'll find answers to some of our most frequently asked questions. If you don't find what you're looking for, I'd love to visit with you personally.

What is included in your puppy package and what does it cost?

Puppy Package:

Deposits

A deposit of $500 is required to reserve a spot in the puppy pick list.
Puppies will be picked in the order of when the deposits are received.
The deposit is non-refundable, but is transferrable. If something in your life changes prohibiting you from following through with the puppy purchase you originally intended, the deposit can be transferred and applied to a future litter.
The deposit is put toward the final cost of the puppy which is due when the puppy is picked up or at 8 weeks of age, whichever comes first.

Your Journey to a Desert Sky Puppy

Step 1: Fill out the Puppy Interest Form and I will contact you. You can also call or text message me directly 435-231-1816.
Step 2: I love to have a video or phone call so that we can discuss what you are looking for in a dog and I can answer any questions you have. If you are interested, but not ready to place a deposit, join the email list and be sure to follow us on Facebook and/or Instagram for future updates.
Step 3: A deposit officially secures your place on the Master List. You'll be kept up-to-date about the timing of future litters and
Step 4: When the puppies are 7 weeks old they will have a formal temperament test. Then, I will go down the master list allowing each deposit holder to pick their specific puppy in the order deposits were received. Go-home dates begin at 8 weeks of age. If timing or other parameters don't fit for a deposit holder, they can defer to the next litter.

What puppy pick up/delivery options do you offer?

If you are within driving distance:

Pick your puppy up. We are located in Enterprise, Utah (84725). We are also happy to meet you in Cedar City or St. George.
We will also offer a free delivery day with each litter in the following locations:
- Las Vegas, Nevada
- Northern Utah along the Wasatch Front.
- Flagstaff, Arizona (If 2 or more puppies are going that direction.)

If you need flight options:

The least expensive option is for you to fly to Las Vegas and I'll meet you at the airport with your puppy. (Flights to Las Vegas can be relatively cheap from many airports!)
- Before you book a flight, call the airline and ask for their specific requirements or fees. Each airline is different, so be sure to get accurate and current information.
- You will want to have at least 2 hours between your flight arrival and departure.
- You will need an airline approved carrier (example).
- I will provide puppy pads and supplies for travel in your puppy pack.
Hire a flight nanny to deliver the puppy. You will pay for their service directly and meet them at your airport. This option is very simple. Flight nannies are experienced and know exactly how to fly with a puppy. I was shocked by how simple it was when I used a flight nanny service for the first time to receive a puppy. I can help connect you to a flight nanny service.

How Soon Can I Expect a Puppy to be Available?

While timing varies, we are intentionally large enough to have puppies available on a regular basis while remaining small enough to provide individualized attention to every dog. Many families are able to welcome a puppy within approximately six months.

What's the best method of contact?

Feel free to call or text me (Andrea) at 435-231-1816. This is the best way to communicate and where I can reply the fastest.
You can also message me through Instagram or Facebook if you prefer. Just be aware, that sometimes these platforms sift messages to different folders which may delay response.
I'd like to have a video call with every potential puppy buyer. This will allow us to meet and for you to see the puppies and the sire and dam. With the prevalence of puppy-related scams through social media and other sources, I want to give you every opportunity to establish trust and to develop a good breeder/puppy buyer relationship.
